TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As the Client I understand and accept that…

1. I am aware that the fees have to be paid as per Program Fee Schedule and are non-refundable.  If fees are not paid as agreed, the Business will cease to work on my behalf and the Agreement will be deemed to have terminated.
2. I will provide the Business with information about myself as requested that is honest to enable it to represent me to potentially compatible people.
3. I will be offered introductions by way of Profiles or by personal contact from an ONA consultant.
4. I am to respond to the information provided about an introduction within 5 days and to follow through on agreed meetings.
5. My contact details will only be exchanged with people I have agreed to meet and who have agreed to meet me.
6. I know that should my contact details change; I must notify the Business so as not to cause delays.
7. I will present identification such as passport, driver’s license, a copy of divorce documents, etc if so requested by the Business.
8. The guaranteed minimum is based upon the information provided by the Client and the core criteria as determined at the Client’s initial consultation (see Addendum).
9. I know that if I make changes to my relationship preferences during the program, the guaranteed minimum number of introductions may need to be renegotiated. The request for changes made to my relationship preferences are not guaranteed. If the change to my relationship preferences is agreed to by ONA matchmaking, I understand my membership time may need to be extended without any notice, to reach the minimum number of agreed introductions.
   
10. My program time commences thirty days from the date of signing of this Agreement or after the appraisal call if an appraisal is included in your program.
    
11. If I agree to meet on the basis of the information provided and the other person declines, this is not counted as one of the minimum number of introductions to be offered to me by the Business.
12. If I decline an introduction on the basis of the information provided, this is counted as one of the minimum number of introductions to be offered to me by the Business, unless core criteria have not been adhered to.
    
13. After each initial meeting, I will provide the Business with feedback about the introduction and its subsequent outcome.
14. I know that if I behave in ways deemed to be offensive, unreasonable, or potentially damaging to any other Client or the reputation of the Business, the Business reserves the right to suspend my participation in the Program. In this instance, any fees I have paid will not be refunded.
    
15. I must respect the confidentiality of any person I meet through ONA matchmaking & Associates. I understand I should not discuss others I have met through the program for this reason.  Should this clause be breached, I am aware that my participation in the program will cease with no refund due. 

Services to be provided to the Client by the Business

1. On receipt of the non-refundable Program fee, we will establish and maintain a comprehensive information base about you.

2. Once we have received the required information about you, you will have an appraisal consultation with one of our human relations consultants.

3. We will search our ONA matchmaking database for people who are potentially compatible with your core criteria.

4. Those considered potentially suitable will be screened by phone to ascertain that they meet the client’s core criteria.  Those deemed suitable will be asked to provide more detailed information by way of profile or discussion and to provide a recent photograph if this is appropriate.

5. We will provide you with relevant information about an introduction by way of profile or discussion. Identifying information will then be provided if you both wish to meet.

6. You will be offered the agreed minimum number of introductions during your program unless you have joined a non refundable Network Agreement. There isnt a minimum number of guaranteed introductions available on our Network Agreements .
   

7. If you do not receive the minimum number of introductions within the time period because your profile has been declined or there has not been a suitable introduction to offer you, the time period will be extended until such time as you have received the minimum number of introductions.

Disclaimers

1. The Business acts as an agent for our clients solely for the purpose of effecting introductions between singles seeking a partner.

2. Neither the Business, nor any of its servants or agents, accepts any liability for any information or representation concerning its Clients or the persons to whom its Clients may be introduced. Nor does it or any of its servants or agents, accept any responsibility for any warranty concerning the history, character, age, capabilities, background or suitability of our clients or of any person.

3. The Business accepts no liability for any loss or expense howsoever the same may be caused, suffered or incurred by its clients or by any person to whom they may be introduced. The Business reserves the right to develop or change its systems and methods in ways deemed to be in the best interests of its Clients and the Business.

4. The Business reserves the right to alter its fees in any way it sees fit and without notice, although such changes will not result in extra fees becoming payable on this agreement.
